For the next couple weeks, I'm gonna put out a preview for every F1 team for the 2014 season. I will try and be consistent and do it every weekday at 11:00 AM, but I know I'm lazy and may not get it every day, but I try!
The Team:
Scuderia Ferrari
Origins:
Origins? Nope, this is genesis.
Team History:
Oh boy, let's just do a list to kinda summarize how old and how good Ferrari is.....
Most Wins
Most Constructor's Championships
Most Driver Championships
Most Pole Positions
Most Fastest Laps
Most Grand Prix Entered
So yeah, they have been around a bit and have accomplished much.
The Car:
The F14T is (surprised) Ferrari powered and the name was chosen by YOU, the fans. Personally I think they wanted to call it the F150 Ecoboost but legal issues got in the way.
Is the Nose a Gentleman's Sausage?
No, it's a catfish or a vacuum cleaner or a mating partner for some of the other cars..
The Drivers:
Fernando Alonso (World Champion 2005/2006): Fernando Alonso is a double World Champion and has been with Ferrari since 2010. He has 32 wins and is certainly a fan favorite, especially in his native Spain. He is always a strong competitor and you should look for him to finish in the top 3 in the Driver's Championship.
Kimi Räikkönen (World Champion 2007): Kimi Raikkonen is your !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! . You may be a bigger fan of Vettel or Hamilton or whoever, but Kimi is your favorite. His mumbling, drunkenness, and overall "devil may care" attitude may not be well received if he wasn't consistently one of the fastest drivers in the field. He is the 2007 World Champion, has 20 wins, and is moving back to Ferrari after being with !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! for the last two years. He also did a couple !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! races, which was !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!!

The Sponsors:
Shell, UPS, and Santander all share a bit of high end sponsorship for Ferrari. I'm sure an associate's sponsor cost is about the same for Ferrari, what a primary is for many teams.
Why You Would Like This Team:
Basically Ferrari is the New York Yankees of F1. It's a team with great tradition, a huge fan base, and potential to win every year. They have the cash to win and they aren't afraid to use it. Along with the Yankees, they have some of the most obnoxious and loud fans in they house (when I went to Austin this November, every loud and obnoxious person I saw wore Ferrari stuff.) If you want to be guaranteed to root for a winner, you root for Ferrari.
My Expectations:
Ferrari will be fast because Ferrari is always fast. Expect another top 3 Constructor's Championship finish for the team and a couple wins each for both Alonso and Raikkonen. I could see some friction between the drivers because the lack of a clear #1 and #2 driver. All in all for Ferrari, just expect another Ferrari year.
